Our Story
LA FORESTA was born from friendship, nostalgia and a deep love for the mountains. Founded in 2025 by two mothers and close friends, Cleo Oettingen-Spielberg and Farina Maria Pavel, the brand draws inspiration from traditional Alpine clothing, reimagined through vintage pieces and a cosmopolitan perspective.
With a focus on craftsmanship and storytelling, our pieces are designed with intention: made to accompany a life and to endure beyond seasons and to evoke a quiet sense of longing for places and times remembered. Our philosophy is to create pieces defined by quiet Alpine elegance, uncompromising quality and effortless modernity.
Our Approach
Every piece is thoughtfully designed by us and handmade in small, family-run ateliers in Europe, chosen for their dedication to true craftsmanship. We work with selected fabrics, from rich Loden wools to Italian velvets and British tartans, valued for their quality and character.
Our collections follow the principles of slow fashion, produced in limited quantities with integrity and respect for time. Because we believe: you shouldn’t rush something you want to last forever. Carefully made and quietly beautiful, our garments are designed to be worn, cherished and loved for years.
